Harriett Jagger, a top fashion stylist, has styled a number of A-list celebrities - here are her tips to look great this Spring.

Romantic pinks

Mix paler pinks with the antique and vintage lace and broderie anglaise looks around for next spring. Be careful of checks - too much pink gingham won't help you look like a 'sophisticated lady'.

Look after your clothes

Cleaner, fresher clothes will continue to look like new for longer than ones discarded on chairs or thrown over old hangers in the back of the wardrobe. Wash your clothes in Lenor In the Pink to give them the care they deserve.

Mix fabrics - rough and smooth

Mix a tough denim jacket with a fine cotton skirt. Try a vintage pink top over a crisp white cotton shirt and grey flannel shorts for a Paul Smith look.

Get your undies right

For underneath T-shirts, halter-necks and fine fabrics choose the right shaped underwear - it makes all the difference. Most stores now have strapless and halter-neck options and lots of choice. Also look for nude underwear to wear under sheer fabrics.

Clear out your wardrobe

We only wear 40% of the clothes in our closets. Sort out and clear out, make space for new items that will re-vitalise more established looks.
