UK - a nation of bedroom divas
Robbie Williams has beaten the likes of Madonna and Abba to be crowned the nation's favourite when it comes to songs we want to hear when we are getting ready for a night out!
We decided to carry out a survey to discover some of the UK's typical habits when preparing to go out and a huge 33% of the population voted 'Let Me Entertain You' as the song that made them most likely to want to grab the hairbrush and dance in front of the mirror - something that 80% of you either do yourselves, or know someone who does!
Surprisingly, when it comes to splashing out on 'going out' clothes, men seem to take this more seriously than women, with over a quarter admitting to spending £100 - £1,000 a month, whilst only 16% of women surveyed confessed to spending the same.
The 'getting ready for a night out' ritual has become a tradition in homes across the UK with nearly half of you admitting to trying on an average of 4 outfits before hitting the town. Girls aged 16-24 take the most time to get ready, with one in ten of them trying on between 6-10 outfits!
As the only Brit in the top 5, Robbie beat other superstars such as Abba, Madonna, Beyonce and Jackie Wilson.
This is what you voted as your hot top five:
- 'Let Me Entertain You' - Robbie Williams
- 'Super Trooper' - Abba
- 'Like a Virgin' - Madonna
- 'The Sweetest Feeling' - Jackie Wilson
- 'Crazy in Love' - Beyonce
'The Sweetest Feeling' is the only 60's song that made the top five, proving some old classics never go out of fashion and in honour of this, we're helping to re-release it.
Lenor In the Pink has teamed up with former Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon, to create an up-to-the-minute version of this old favourite - so you'll have a great new sound to dance around the bedroom to!
